How you can help

Giving

The generosity of Asha's supporters has enabled us to help thousands of people make positive changes to their lives. Although some of our schemes run in partnership with the government, for the majority of our work we rely on the continuing support of the friends of Asha. If you are inspired by our work, you can help many more slum dwellers to realise their potential by making a donation to Asha.

The difference your money can make

Everything that our supporters can contribute makes a big difference to us. Your support goes a long way in India! We'll ensure that whatever you can afford will be put to the best possible use and give even more people hope of a better future.

Give a regular gift

You can become a Hope Giver by donating to us on regular basis. A regular gift is the most effective way to support Asha as this method reduces administration costs and aids planning and budgeting for future projects. The equivalent of the cost of a daily newspaper can make a striking difference to the lives of slum dwellers in Delhi.

Give a cash gift

If you'd rather make a one-off donation, we'll use the money where it is needed most. Here are just a few examples of the difference your donation could make:

£8 will provide 8 children with Vitamin A supplements to prevent blindness

£20 will provide full medical care and vaccinations for a child for its first year of life

£50 will provide basic health education for 150 people

£180 will equip a Community Health Volunteer for one year including all supplies

Thank You Asha

I was widowed at 25 and left with 3 children - the youngest was just one year old. My husband left a void that can't be filled but Asha helped me financially so I could send my children to school, and I now have a job as a maid. I thought about ending my life but Asha gave me the support to carry on.
