Asha and its students in the press

Posted: 11/08/2009

The articles below featured in Indian newspapers recently.

The Times of India is the largest national newspaper in India - it's read by more than 13 million people -and has the widest circulation of any English-language newspaper in the world. It's followed by Hindustan Times, which has been in print since 1924, and then the Indian Express and The Hindu, so to have articles in all four of the largest-circulating national papers is wonderful!

Thank you Asha

I grew up in a slum area, but Asha helped me to understand the importance of education. I've worked hard in school for years, and Asha gave me books and extra tuition when I needed it. Now I'm in engineering college! It's a dream come true for me.
