Asha's Treasurer, Mr. Aditya Awasthi, recently had his 4th book published. He received the Presidential Award for an earlier book on films by the President of India, Mr. K. R. Narayanan.
In this 360-page book titled ‘Dastaan e Delhi' (the Story of Delhi), Mr. Awasti examines the history of Delhi ranging from 100,000 years ago when early man lived in caves to the present day. He goes on to suggest what Delhi will be like in the next century.

The book explains how 16 small cities combined to make 7 big cities and how these 7 cities came to be the Delhi we know now. A list of cities, monuments and rulers who invaded Delhi throughout history are mentioned in the book.
Dastaan e Delhi is soon to be launched by the Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Sheila Dixit. We hope that this book is a huge success.
