The Polyclinic is looking fabulous in its new coat of green, red and cream as a result of the unstinting hard work of the Global Generation Church Team. They managed to complete painting the entire Polyclinic before they left for the UK.
Dressed in their painted painting clothes the team attracted a lot of curious bystanders who were eager to know why foreigners had come to paint the Asha Headquarters; that the Team had volunteered to do so was beyond their comprehension.
Though the Team has left and Radhay Shyam, the supervisor for the painting, and his team is lonely without their UK friends, work on the Polyclinic is still progressing.
So many things have got better in my area since Asha has been here. I had months of training, and at first people didn't want to listen to me, but now they are happy they can get healthcare within the community.
