On September 3rd, US Congressman Mike Thompson and his wife Janet Thompson hosted Asha Day at the Hall Winery in Napa Valley. In attendance were long time supporters of Asha along with many new ones as well. The Congressman described the long association of Napa Valley supporters with Asha’s work, particularly to aid the children of the slums. The event included an interview with Dr Kiran Martin conducted by KVON Radio’s Jeff Schectman, a silent auction, a wine tasting and a delicious Indian lunch.
